We're beyond EXCITED to announce that Vanguard Charitable (via the Robert W. Best Charitable Giving Fund at ATMOS Energy) has gifted Backpack Friends with a $15,000 grant to help us towards our mission of wiping out weekend hunger among kids!
Vanguard Charitable helps connect donors to reputable charities. Donors (like our friends at ATMOS Energy) suggest organizations they would like to support and Vanguard does all the research, vetting, and due diligence necessary to qualify for their grants.
With great gratitude, we're excited to partner together with them during the coronavirus pandemic. Their support will enable us to put thousands of backpacks of food into the hands (and tummies!) of hungry children.
