Four years ago, Tom and Heather Cottar (along with several others) began volunteering with Pflugerville ISD to help meet the food insecurity needs of school age children. As you know...
Thousands of school-age kids on free and reduced meal programs and enjoy the peace and safety of having plenty to eat while at school during the week. But what about the weekends?
That's where we come in.
We help provide healthy, nutritious food to at-risk kids EVERY weekend during the school year. With help from donors, volunteers, civic groups, and church organizations, we're able to help feed a child for $5 each weekend! We couldn't do it without your support and encouragement!
