One of our area GIR SCOUTS has launched a golf ball collection to benefit Backpack
Friends!
Golf balls are made of plastic and synthetic rubber which takes 100-1000 years to
decompose...and when they do they release harmful toxins into the environment.
Recycling these balls helps our planet and the money raised will feed kids!
Donate your old, used golf balls from July 1-21 and we'll trade them in for CASH.
Backpack Friends will receive $0.21 or more per ball-- which will be used to feed area
children in August!
